Alexander Graham Bell was born in 1847 in Scotland. He studied at the universities of Edinburgh and London. In 1971, he moved to Boston. There, he worked at a school for deaf people. In 1874, he experiment with the basic idea for the telephone and then in 1876, he transmitted the first complete sentence by telephone. He said “Watson, come here, I want you.” Bell won the Volta Prize (worth 50,000 French francs) for his invention. He died in 1922 in Canada
